What is Twitter?
Twitter is a real-time information network powered by people all around the world that lets you share and discover what’s happening now. Twitter users post 140-character “tweets” about topics they’re interested in, and can reply back to other users’ “tweets” creating a conversation. When you have a Twitter account you can “Follow” other Twitter users with a Twitter client (for your desktop or mobile phone), or anyone can read a Twitter feed on the web.
